This Luxor day tour is designed to give you the full picture in a single, well-paced day without the exhaustion of a rushed group tour. Your private Egyptologist guide makes all the difference.”
Your Day Highlights
Hatshepsut
Cut into the cliffs of the West Bank, the Temple of Hatshepsut is one of the most dramatic sights in all of Egypt. Three colonnaded terraces rise against the rock face, covered in detailed reliefs that tell the story of one of history’s most remarkable rulers. Her trade expeditions to the land of Punt, her divine birth, her reign over a civilisation at its peak.
Valley of the Kings
Beneath the hills of the West Bank lies one of the ancient world’s greatest secrets. Over 60 royal tombs are carved into the rock here, built for the pharaohs of the New Kingdom and packed with hieroglyphics, painted scenes, and treasures meant to last forever. Tutankhamun’s tomb is here. So is Ramesses II. Walking inside them is like stepping directly into ancient Egypt.
Luxor Temple
Right in the heart of the city, Luxor Temple comes alive at night when it’s fully lit, but it impresses just as much by day. Built by Amenhotep III and expanded by Ramesses II, it’s one of the best-preserved temple complexes in Egypt, with towering columns, grand courtyards, and a history stretching back 3,400 years.
Karnak Temples
The largest religious complex ever built. Karnak took over 2,000 years and 30 pharaohs to complete, and walking through its Hypostyle Hall. 134 massive columns packed tight in rows is genuinely hard to process. Nothing quite prepares you for the scale of it.
